The closest functional IC to the LTC3255 in Linear’s portfolio is the LTC3245, which is a high-voltage, 250mA buck-boost charge pump. The LTC3255 is a buck-mode device, with wider input voltage range and transient and reverse voltage protection. It also features a shunt mode for current loops, higher output accuracy, but lower output current of 50mA Vs. 250mA for the LTC3245.
