In summary, the Molex KK® family is a single row wire-to-board and board-to-board connector family. A feature of the KK terminal is the “dual cantilever” design, plus the KK family also offers enhancements for high vibration, high shock, and high pressure environments such as the Cat-Ear terminals for high pressure applications, the Trifurcon™ and KK box-style terminals which offer multiple points of contact in high vibration environments, and anti-fish-hooking terminals which offer an extra crimp point. The KK family offers a wide variety of single row, unshrouded PCB headers in through-hole PCB termination with available friction lock ramps and polarizing backwalls. For wire-to-board applications, KK housings are a cost effective solution, offering a secure mate, polarization, and design flexibility. KK PCB receptacles for board-to-board applications are preloaded with the KK dual cantilever terminal and can mate to any KK header in the same pitch size.
