Looking at the three different topologies for autosense translators, the LSF family has the simplest structure. It utilizes a single-pass transistor for each channel; however, all pull-up voltages and resistors must be supplied separately outside of the device. This family provides flexibility in translation needs. The NXS family also has a single-pass transistor per channel. Internally, it adds a one-shot circuit to accelerate the rising edge of signals and internal pull-up resistors, simplifying the board design and providing a smaller footprint. The NXB family has one-shots for both rising and falling edges and also includes push-pull output drivers instead of open drain like the other two topologies.
