The challenge in developing this kind of system is to send the magnetic flux generated by the transmitter coil to the receiver coil with the best efficiency possible. Normally, the transmitter coil and the receiver coil are installed on a metal housing. Because metal absorbs the magnetic flux due to its high loss characteristics, the magnetic flux generated by the transmitter coil cannot be sent to the receiver coil with optimal efficiency. A ferrite tile with low loss is going to solve this issue.
