It also works in the dark and in challenging light conditions. Radar devices can also be used in harsh environments; dust, vibration, noise, heat, and cold do not influence the object measurement. Radar waves are able to radiate through a wide range of materials, so it can be hidden in places such as behind a plastic covering. It detects objects, people, or vehicles in far distances, and vandalism actions like graffiti or bubble gum in front of the antenna do not impair the detection. This makes radar one of the most reliable and robust measurement technologies available.
