All the pins (both FM and DBC) are grouped based on the specific function. High voltage pins are far away from low voltage ones, increasing the noise immunity of the module. The output of the 3-phase inverter, with its pin-out, simplifies the connection to the motor while keeping three open-ended emitter connections (Nu, Nv, Nw) to allow a very simple current sensing circuitry to be implemented. SLLIMM™ modules can now detect an over-temperature situation thanks to: an internal NTC placed as close as possible to the power transistors and a dedicated pin (TSO) to monitor an analog signal proportional to the gate driver’s temperature.
