While wirewound resistors are available with non-inductive windings, thin film resistor technologies may be suitable for some applications. Riedon’s PF series thin film designs can support higher power ratings up to 50W depending on the specific type, and are available as both a TO-126 and TO-220 through-hole housing. If a surface mounting design is required, Riedon’s PFS series can handle up to 35W.
