When designing the data access port, the engineer took a fresh approach to an old problem, creating a product that not only appeals to the end user, but to the installer as well. Multiple faceplate configurations shown in this slide were designed to meet any need or requirement. Panduit data access ports are designed to support configurations with any power receptacle, any level of circuit breakers, and up to four programming ports. In addition to the broad offering of preconfigured products and faceplates, the Panduit data access port was designed to be completely modular. Utilizing the Panduit Mini-Com offering, any component can be modified, added, or removed at any time. Programming port, circuit breaker, and power layouts can be modified and customized to meet any customer requirement - before, during, or after installation. This gives the customer ultimate design flexibility with the ability to upgrade their data access ports in the field, eliminating the need to completely replace the unit. Finally, OEMs and machine builders can house an adaptable inventory, and be able to quickly support their customers with minimal SKUs.
