One of the biggest advantages of har-port is the simple assembly process. This user-friendly solution only requires fastening of one central M22 nut in a standardized circular 22.5 mm panel cutout, which is heavily used across the industry for emergency stop switches and controls. Because of the plastic housing of the har-port, the RJ45 coupler is not physically connected to the bulkhead housing. When potential equalization between the cable shielding and the bulkhead is required, the same can be accomplished with additional cable and a 2.8 mm AMP FastCon connector, which are also available.
