CDE coin cells are available with storage up to 1.5 Farads and voltage ratings from 3.6 WVDC to 6.3 WVDC. The wide operating temperature range adds to application diversity. Rated operating life is especially long, offering over 500,000 charge/discharge cycles, and unlike a battery, performance does not degrade with each cycle. With compact size, each part provides an economical solution for energy storage. EDC/EDS series supercaps can be used as direct replacements for a number of similar devices that have been discontinued or no longer supported by other manufacturers.
