Analog Devices DeepCover Secure Authenticator Demonstration Kit | DigiKey Daily

The DeepCover secure authenticator demonstration kit, from Analog Devices, is based on Analog Devices' DS28C36 DeepCover secure authenticator. This device provides a core set of asymmetric-key and symmetric-key cryptographic security functions. It also includes a true random number generator, 8 kilobits of secured EEPROM, a decrement-only counter, and a unique 64-bit ROM identification number. This demonstration platform utilizes a GUI for demonstrating functional capabilities of Analog Devices’ secure authenticators in various end-equipment scenarios. The hardware is connected via USB 2.0, allowing for simple setup and operation. Its software can run on various Windows operating systems of both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Suitable applications include counterfeit prevention, IoT device authenticity and message integrity, and secure download and boot.
