Alpha Wire Cable Glands | DigiKey Daily
Cable glands are the latest addition to Alpha Wire's FIT (pronounced: fit) wire management family of products. These new cable glands provide extra protection against harsh environments, and besides being dust-, dirt-, and sand-resistant, they are watertight in accordance with IP68. These cable gland products are available in NPT, metric, and PG thread sizes, and also feature an optimum strain relief for both static and dynamic applications. Furthermore, these cable glands offer gray-colored high-strength polyamide body construction, tough rubber O-ring seals—to protect against leaks and drips, and have a wide temperature specification ranging from minus 20 degrees Celsius to 100 degrees Celsius. These RoHS (pronounced: row-hoss) compliant cable glands have both CSA and UL approvals.
