Image of YAGEO Nexensos Pre-Mounted SMD Chip Pt-RTD Sensor on PCB Board – PCB Series YAGEO Nexensos platinum temperature sensors on a printed circuit board (PCB) have been specially designed for use in calorimetry. When designing these sensors, the stringent requirements of this sector regarding precision, long-term stability, and cost minimization as well as the option for fully automatic further processing were of prime concern. The temperature sensor in an SMD package forms the measurement active element on a PCB. The chip is connected with terminal faces either with a thin conductive path or via meandering circuit board conductors in order to reduce heat dissipation and to prevent corruption of the measuring results. As a cable set sensor, it is suitable for a wide range of applications within a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C.

Features
  • Temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) 3850 ppm/K
  • Temperature range from -40°C to +150°C
  • Measuring current: Pt500 Ω: 0.1 mA to 0.7 mA / Pt1000 Ω: 0.1 mA to 0.3 mA
  • Tolerance class: F 0.3 (B)
Benefits
  • Easy connection to cables via solderable connection pads
  • Quick and economical temperature probe assembly
  • Connection pads on opposite surfaces; zero short-circuit risk
  • High accuracy and interchangeability of a platinum sensor
