Simma Software, Inc. specializes in real-time communication protocols for the embedded systems industry. The software product line includes solutions for CAN, J1939, CANopen, ISO 15765, OBD-II, UDS, XCP, J1708, J1587, and LIN. There are currently over 1000 companies using their products, with more that a million units deployed. Their software solutions are used by Ford, Toyota, Audi, Saab, Hyundai, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Daimler (Freightliner), Eaton, Cummins, the US Military, and Tier 1 suppliers to all the major OEMs.

In addition to the library of software products, Simma Software also offers a full suite of Vehicle Network Adapters (VNA). The VNA family of high performance, low cost, low latency adapters supports J1939, J1708, and OBD-II for both heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles. The interfaces available in the VNA family include RS232, USB, and Bluetooth.
