In summary, the VersaClock™ III family of programmable devices provides fast and easy solutions to meet the customers’ timing needs and are readily available in the market for mass production of all volumes. The family consists of crystal oscillator and VCXO based devices with various feature sets and output capabilities, and provides optimized performance when compared to the competition as well as to previous generation Renesas programmable clock families. The devices use EEPROM memory for in-system programming and/or re-programmability using a standard 400kHz I²C port.
