The LTM9001 eliminates most of the complexities of the driver interface to a high-speed ADC resulting in more of a “black box”. The analog input is familiar to RF engineers and the digital I/O is familiar to digital engineers. The layout leads to a well-isolated design with plenty of ground between the inputs and outputs. It is also tested in production as a black box so any affects of component tolerance is incorporated into the overall performance parameters that are fully characterized, tested and guaranteed.
