Analog Devices has three devices to serve this market. For applications that only require heart rate monitoring, the MAX30004 is a suitable alternative. Likewise, the MAX30003 can be used where the requirement is for ECG and heart rate monitoring. However, the MAX30001 meets all of those applications, while also adding bioimpedance and pacemaker detection.
