To navigate through the series of KO-CAP’s for automotive design, this table shown here provides a short summary of the options available. Beginning with the T598 Series, this series represents polymer capacitors that are fully qualified to the AEC-Q200 requirements and is ideal for those who need a part that meets all of the stress test requirements of the automotive standards for passive components. The T591 Series has improved humidity and temperature performance over the standard series. In addition, the T591 is also a PPAP/PSW and Change Control Series for those automotive designs that do not require full Q200 qualification, but must ensure change control. The T520, T521 and T525 are not change controlled but are produced in an ISO TS 16949 certified facility. The T525 is a 125°C rated product while the T520 is a 105°C rated product. Both the T520 and T525 are tested standard humidity conditions of 60°C at 90% relative humidity.
