In summary, the ATS maxiGRIP™ and superGRIP™ are currently the only attachment options available that use a combination of metal spring clip and plastic frame clip technologies. It has become increasingly important to avoid component damage associated with the assembly and rework of printed circuit boards containing numerous devices that require a heat sink and have a cost ranging from a few hundred to several thousands of dollars. ATS has heatsink options that satisfy this requirement along with providing low device temperatures, reduced assembly time, and minimized field repair costs.
