WE-HCC Inductor Slide 2

Würth Elektronik Midcom has released a new high performance inductor series, the WE-HCC. It is available in two different core materials, Iron Alloy and Ferrite. The WE-HCC Ferrite series is optimized for power supply circuits running at high switching frequencies with high ripple current. Due to the ferrite material, the core losses are significantly lower compared to iron powder materials which are mainly used in high current inductor designs. On the other hand, the WE-HCC Iron series is also a good choice because of its excellent saturation behavior over temperature for filter circuits or power supplies.
