Next to the CTR value, the isolation characteristics are important to the customer. In terms of safety, creepage, clearance, and the insulation thickness are the most important parameters. The creepage is the shortest path along the surface and the clearance is the shortest path through air. The insulation thickness is the minimum thickness of insulating material.
