A final topic to be noted is the standard conditions for using a soldering iron with the KCM or KRM series. Caution must be taken to perform soldering under the specified conditions in order to avoid causing cracks when making contact between the ceramic and iron tip as well as to avoid dislocating the chip when making contact between or outside the connection area of the chip and the metal terminal.
