In summary, the mixer intermod performance is one of many factors limiting the performance of receive signal chains. The RF mixer spur chart is a tool used for locating the frequency of MxN spurs, but not the amplitude. In this way, the spur chart is generic, and does not apply to any single mixer product. The spur table, given in the datasheet for each mixer device, gives the amplitude of each MxN spur under very specific conditions, typically LO frequency and LO power. By using the mixer spur chart and the spur table, the absolute frequency and amplitude of the MxN spurs can be determined.
