The HM78D-1210 coupled inductor series will be highlighted in this presentation, as well as the benefits that it offers to the designer. It will also expand on applications it is frequently utilized in, such as high current power inductor in a buck or boost converter, (SEPIC) using a boost controller, a ZETA converter using a buck controller or a dual voltage output buck converter, or a coupled inductor in a two-port filter and as an autotransformer where isolation is not required.
