RAJ306001/10 Integrated Motor Control ICs

Renesas’ RAJ306001 and RAJ306010 integrated motor drive ICs provide easy, efficient, and safe brushless DC (BLDC) motor control for battery-operated power tools, drones, robots, fans, water pumps, and other systems. The single-chip system-in-package (SiP) integrates a microcontroller (MCU) and pre-driver for a sensor-less solution that saves board space and lowers system costs while enabling levels of low-speed rotation and high torque control that other solutions cannot achieve.

The single package motor control IC integrates an RL78/G1F MCU in an 8 mm x 8 mm all-in-one package. With more efficient MOSFET switching, motor drive efficiency is improved by 35% and better thermal performance eliminates the need for a heat sink to further reduce external components.

The motor control development tool RAJ306010 RSSK includes a development board and motor plus reference firmware and sample code.
