Renesas’ winning combination is designed for cordless and rechargeable battery-powered gardening tool applications. It is designed with a battery front end to monitor and control the battery life and a specialized motor control microcontroller (MCU) to drive the motor. In this application, the 20 V leaf blower supports adjustable speeds to match usage and preserve battery life and the battery can be easily connected to a stand-alone charging dock.
