ERA-xV/ERA-xK Series Thin Film Chip Resistors

 Panasonic’s ERA-xV and ERA-xK series thin film chip resistors feature a soft terminal and passivated layer. These resistors provide design engineers with a wide array of resistors to choose from and are specifically developed to handle extremely hazardous and challenging application environments.

The ERA-xV and ERA-xK series resistors are manufactured with a gold inner terminal and soft outer terminal making them highly reliable and stable when faced with both high temperatures and high humidity. They feature a uniquely durable design for high ESD resistance and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +155°C with a load life of 10,000 hours at +85°C . These parts protect against heat shock, corrosion, and are ESD withstanding.

These resistors are highly accurate and provide low-resistance tolerance and low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) which is achieved using Panasonic’s thin film process. This series of thin film chip resistors are anti-sulfurated and provide high resistance to sulfurization using an anti-sulfurated electrode material.

The AEC-Q200 qualification of the ERA-xV and ERA-xK series ensures that these resistors meet most of the stringent quality standards in the industry. These parts have almost met the requirements for AEC-Q200 HBM electrostatic discharge test making them durable to ESD events. Compliant to IEC 60115-8, JIS C 5201-8, and JEITA RC-2133C reference standards and also RoHS and REACH compliant.
