BLM Series Automotive Signal Line EMI Filters

Murata's chip ferrite beads BLM series are designed to function nearly as a resistor at noise frequencies, which greatly reduces the possibility of resonance and leaves signal wave-forms undistorted. Murata's BLM series is effective in circuits without stable ground lines because the BLM series does not need a grounding connection. The nickel barrier structure of the external electrodes provides excellent solder heat resistance. The BLM series generates an impedance from the relatively low frequencies. Therefore, the BLM series is effective in noise suppression in a wide frequency range (several MHz to several GHz) and is available in a wide range of current ratings able to meet various automotive noise suppression requirements in automotive applications (ADAS).
