RAS Series Rack Shelf
Hammond's shelf has a universal design that provides rack-mounting equipment to components
Hammond’s RAS series provides a range of rack shelves that mount to any standard EIA-compliant rack or cabinet. With its simple and universal design, the RAS series provides an essential function when mounting equipment and components that do not have rack-mounting capabilities.
RAS series shelves are constructed of 14- or 16-gauge steel depending on size and finished in a rugged black powder coat. A variety of sizes designed for 19” rack mounting are available, as well as a selection of 23” wide shelves. All sizes are available as a solid shelf, and most sizes are available with vents.
1U shelves have a suggested load capacity of 42 lbs, 2U shelves of 100 lbs, and 3U and 4U shelves of 200 lbs. RAS series shelves can be mounted to rack rails internally to serve as traditional rack shelves, or externally to serve as a working surface.
