Image of COADACA's VPAB3822 Series Automotive-Grade Molding Power Chokes CODACA's VPAB3822 series molding power chokes feature low loss, low DCR, and high saturation up to 335 A in a 38.25 mm x 38.25 mm x 22.0 mm package with DCR as low as 0.16 mΩ. This significant improvement in power density makes the VPAB3822 very suitable for automotive applications.

The VPAB3822 series is molded by alloy powder and flat wire, achieves an ultra-low DCR, and significantly reduces AC losses, ensuring stable saturation characteristics to handle high transient currents. Its through-hole design enhances welding stability and anti-vibration. The VPAB3822 series is available in four inductance values ranging from 0.82 µH to 3.3 µH. It is AEC-Q200 Grade 0 (-55°C ~ +165°C) qualified, making it ideal for automotive and other high-temperature applications. Soft saturation is stable over temperature and enables high peak current handling. Magnetic shielding reduces EMI at high switching frequencies.
