Aluminum Strap Hinges

Austin Hardware’s 3035 and 3068 series aluminum strap hinges are designed to replace stamped steel hinges that cause corrosion and increase warranty claims on aluminum cargo trailers and car haulers. These hinges create a family package aesthetic across the entire trailer. Specifically, the 3035 series is designed for the rear ramp doors of cargo trailers and car haulers. They maximize strength with a stainless-steel pin and incorporate user-friendly acetyl bushings. The bushings last longer and eliminate the need for lubrication, replacing more common grease zerks that do require regular lubrication. The 3068 series complements the 3035 by using the same butt extrusion and a 270 degree swing for aluminum trailer side doors.
